Hello and thank you for visiting my website!

My name is Carly Keating and my main objectives are to work in film and theatre as a director and producer. My long term goal is to feature and direct my own successful productions both on the small and large screen.

​

In terms of education I have been preparing myself for a future within the creative arts from the age of 14.

 The skills I  mainly enjoy developing are film and video, music video, editing, animation and web design.

​

I am currently a 2:1 graduate of BSc (Hons) Cinematic Arts through Ulster University. This course prepares students through its modules for a career in any of the following areas:

• Film and filmmaking

• Screenwriting

• Direction/Production

• Cinematography

• Post-production e.g. editing

• Advertising

• Online media

• Ambient media

• Live performance

• Visual arts

• Research

 

I have completed BTEC Level 2 Extended Cert in Creative Media Production at the SRC, Newry where I achieved an overall Distinction*. The units completed were Research for media production, communication techniques for creative media production, animation techniques and advertising production.

 

I have studied BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Creative Media Production at Southern regional College Newry which extended and advanced my techniques such as Factual Programme, Production, Web Authoring, Photography techniques, Speech Package Production, Working to a Brief, 2D Animation, Research Techniques, Film and Video Editing Techniques, Preproduction, Music Video and Creative Craft.

I will be starting my Masters Degree in Media and Broadcast production in September 2018.
